Judge/Executive Steve Pendery and Campbell County Fiscal Court Honor Fred Macke, Jr. with Citation of Achievement

Judge/Executive Steve Pendery, joined by Commissioner Brian Painter and Commissioner Tom Lampe, presented a Citation of Achievement to Fred Macke, Jr. at this week's Fiscal Court meeting. The citation recognizes Fred's many years of dedicated service to Campbell County, especially his leadership as Chairman of the Campbell County Economic Progress Authority (CCEPA), the county body that plans and delivers major economic development and public infrastructure projects.

Lindsey Rechtin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Kentucky Water District, attended the meeting to help celebrate Fred, who also serves as Treasurer of the Water District's Board of Commissioners.

Fred joined the CCEPA in 1998 and has served as a key leader on the projects that have transformed our community. His vision, expertise, and steady guidance have been central to several landmark projects, including:

• The Campbell County Administration Building in Newport. This project brought county operations together under one roof and made it easier for residents to do business with their county government.
• The Southern Campbell County Industrial Park. This is a cornerstone economic development project that prepares Campbell County for long-term commercial and industrial growth.
• The Campbell County Public Safety Building. This is the largest public safety investment in the county's history, supporting law enforcement, emergency services, and public safety operations for years to come.

A lifelong Northern Kentuckian, Fred brings more than five decades of commercial real estate experience to his public service. He has served as Brokerage Senior Vice President with Colliers International since 1976. Over his career, he has completed:

• More than $600 million in sales
• More than 10 million square feet of leases
• More than 2,500 total transactions

His deep knowledge of the regional market has made him a trusted advisor to elected officials, business leaders, and the wider Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky community.

Fred's commitment to public service extends well beyond his work with the CCEPA. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Northern Kentucky Water District Board of Commissioners, a position he has held since 2004. He has previously served multiple terms as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary.
